CRYPTO PLANTS

CRYPTO PLANTS" is a futuristic work exploring the fusion of natural energy and science/technology. AI-generated flowers merge with Earth's waters (Gaia), carrying the energy of entropy.
By juxtaposing plants and flowers—symbols of the natural ecosystem powered by solar nuclear fusion—with artificial flowers created by AI, the work envisions humanity striving for a new balance between nature and civilization. It symbolically expresses the harmony and possibilities that arise from the coexistence of technological evolution and the natural world.

In this vision, plants and flowers—symbols of Earth’s natural ecosystem powered by solar nuclear fusion—are juxtaposed with artificial flowers created by AI. This fusion illustrates the possibilities and harmony that arise when technological evolution coexists with the natural world. It speaks to the ongoing relationship between humanity and the ecosystem, which has been sustained by the sun's fusion energy since the origin of life on Earth.
"Crypto Plants" is an attempt to integrate these challenges and possibilities into a single work. Plants and flowers, which absorb CO2 through photosynthesis, symbolize the natural ecosystem based on solar energy. Meanwhile, artificial solutions like CCS technology are poised for further development, calling for a reconsideration of the balance between human creations and nature. This artwork portrays AI-generated artificial flowers coexisting with natural plants as symbols of the fusion between technology and nature.
As humanity explores a new equilibrium between the energy released by nature and the energy created by science, "Crypto Plants" expresses the harmony between nature and civilization formed throughout human history from a future-oriented perspective. This work serves as a symbolic representation, questioning the coexistence of advancing technologies and nature while offering new possibilities and hope for views of Future. What we have learned from the global energy crisis is not just ecocentrism, but also the need to reevaluate ecomodernism and technocentrism in order to integrate human civilization with nature.
